Making of Bullitt

Bullitt was a man's car movie, the kind made without all those fancy CGI effects and fake computer wizardry. The chase scene, featuring Steve McQueen's 1968 Mustang going up against a black 1968 Charger R/T 440 Magnum, is still one of the best of all time.

And that very chase was real, with the cars topping 100 mph on the hilly streets of San Francisco. A groups of some of the best stunt drivers around teamed up to make one seriously epic scene.
