Hurst to offer personalization options to make your own custom car
In this world of personalization, it would seem only a matter of time before someone would offer custom, build-to-order muscle cars. And legendary shifter maker Hurst is stepping up to the plate to offer such a service to those eager to set themselves apart from the masses.
The new Hurst Garage, located in Irvine, California, is opening its doors to owners of late model Camaros, Mustangs, and Challengers for personal customization. Each car will get a dash mounted plaque and certificate of authenticity, along with having its VIN go in the Hurst archives.
"Hurst Garage will allow current owners...to bring their cars to the Hurst facility and have them customized to their taste, with any of our Hurst products,” said Nate Shelton, president and chairman of Hurst Performance Vehicles.

Ford offering custom graphics for Mustang
Ford has just released details on its new graphics program for the 2011 Mustang, which is similar to the program already rolled out for the Fiesta. Customers will be able to put a number of different stripes, designs, and even tribal decals on their cars.
Most of the vinyl kits are priced at $295, but will vary depending on the complexity of the design and the type of vinyl used. You can play around with the configurator and check out all the designs at Ford's website.
